CIVIL WAR LOUISIANA CONFEDERATE BUCKLE W/ NESTING PELICAN. This is a rare Confederate brass belt buckle from Louisiana. The front is designed in relief with a nesting pelican in the center of tall weeds on either side and a long banner above that reads "Justice And Confidence". The back is stamped with 2 marks; "C.S." and "5825". In excellent condition. 3"W x 2"H. Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,500.
