18 in. Tiffany Studios Gold Turtleback Table Lamp. 18 in. dia. shade has a geometric brick background, fiery gold striated glass with 5 rows in the drop border and 7 rows in the domical top; the shade has a 2 in. wide border with 16 large opalescent chunk turtleback panels having a gild iridescent exterior. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios, New York, 1482-15”, is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks or hairlines in the glass, shade holds a true form and has a gold finish throughout the leadwork. On an excellent polished gilt bronze base signed “Tiffany Studios, New York, 366” having an artichoke pattern on the platform with ribbed top, the stem has a teardrop form at the bottom with 8 vertical fish scale ribs under ribbed coils on a smooth surface and artichoke riser at the top; has a 3 light spherical light cluster with original Weber sockets, 4.25 in. dia. 3 spoked wheel and excellent reticulated spun bronze heat cap. Base is in excellent condition with the original gilt finish showing wear from being cleaned over time, an excellent example in untouched condition. 25 in. high. Weight: 32 lbs.
