Description:

1869 BRITISH ENFIELD SNYDER CONVERSION. 36.5" barrel in 577 Snyder with fair bore. Lock is marked with a crown over U.N. behind the hammer and crown & arrow over 1869 over Enfield on the right side of the hammer. Various British proofs are stamped on the barrel and breechblock along with Roman Numeral III over the chamber. Stock is nicked and dented all over but still sound and crack-free. Cartouche on right side of buttstock is faint but still there. Metal is silver with some surface pitting. Estimated Value $600 - 800.
