19th C. William Forbes Coin Silver Teapot. Beautiful and well-crafted teapot with floral finial on the hinged domical lid, fancy tooled borders, serpentine filigree handle and fancy spout; hand tooled floral and filigree panels on the front and back one dated 1838, the other is monogrammed M.D.L.M.M. Has very crisp details, minor ding in the front of the spout and base is slightly out of round. Double-singed on the bottom with W. Forbes in a rectangle and an eagle in a circle. William Forbes (1798-1888, New York). 12 in. high. Total weight 41.1 oz.
