3 Pc. French Industrial Steam Hammer Clock Set. The large bronze case has gilt brass trimmings with piston cylinder on top and a lever leading over to a platform on the left side, between the legs of the case frame is an anvil and hammer which rocks up and down forming the visible portion of the complex pendulum. Has a round French 8 day brass movement signed GLT Paris (Guilmet); movement has a steel pin pallet escapement and strikes on a coiled gong. In good overall condition, nice clean original green finish, running. 18 in. high x 12 in. wide x 6 in. deep. Accompanied by a pair of matching side pieces with similar shaped cases simulating a roller press. In good condition, 10.5 in. high x 6.25 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep. Weight: 30 lbs.
