3 PIECE AVIATION AERONAUTICAL MANTLE CLOCK SET./ Rare French 3 piece "Aviation Aeronautical" mantle clock set. The whimsical fantasy clock signed Ch. Ruchot, shows an airplane, birds, and a winged woman in various examples of flight. It is spelter with a nice bronze patinated finish. The ribbon plaque at the base reads "Sciences Novellas". The plaque on the front reads "L' Aviation - par Ch. Ruchot". The clock has a porcelain face and the single bell time & strike movement is unsigned. The side pieces are highly decorated hot air balloons. All pieces are matching and are on green marble bases. Circa 1915. 14"W x 27"H x 11"D.
