Description:

4 PC. CARVED ROSEWOOD MARBLE TOP BEDROOM SET. This extraordinary 4 piece suite of rosewood Renaissance Revival furniture was purchased in California some years ago. The prominent family who owned the set at that time said that the suite was once owned by a 19th century California governor. The central decoration on the headboard is a Columbia shield which is the logo of the Union Pacific Railroad along with other companies. It is speculated that this suite was the property of Leland and Jane Stanford from one of their three large houses in California, the contents of which were sold off following Mrs. Stanford's death in 1902.bed-66w-103h-86dfull cammode-38w-32h-20dcammode-28w-32h-21ddresser-6. 53"W x 116"H x 24"D.
