5 PC ROSEWOOD INLAID PARLOR SET - CIRCA 1865. This finely made rosewood parlor set has the very highest quality inlay work. While sometimes attributed to Siebricht, the well respected 19th. century New Orleans furniture seller, a very similar set is shown in the bedroom of Cornelia Stewart in the book, Artistic Houses, which contains photos of the opulent interiors of the A. T. Stewart Mansion on Fifth Avenue, various rooms of which were furnished with Herter and Pottier & Stymus furniture. The fabric is in superb condition. Estimated Value $6,000 - 8,000.
