Ansonia Figural Swinging Mystery Clock - Fortuna. Large cast spelter figure of the goddess Fortuna rising up on the wind with a winged putti beside her, she holds a torch in her left hand from which the pendulum swings on an X suspension; has a medium-light brown original finish and is in good condition with no dings, breaks or repairs, has some wear to the finish. 25 in. gridiron pendulum has a 4.5 in. ball top and spherical bob, the dial has applied silvered hour numbers with filigree pierced hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “Ansonia Clock Co.”, is contained behind the dial and powers the mystery swinging pendulum. In good condition and running; has some wear to the finish and pitting to the surface of the pendulum. 30 in. high. Weight: 22.75 lbs.
