Description:

Ansonia Jumper No. 2; 4 in. dial has black Roman hour numerals, black hands, brass spring driven one day movement is contained in a gilt brass tub with pierced crest at the top; raised on 2 arms rising up from cast metal base with pierced filigree design. The bisque figure of a young girl acts as the pendulum bob, hanging from a helical spring connecting to a lever with pin pallets on the escapement which engage the escape wheel as the spring stretches and recoils up and down. Has some corrosion to the base and the feet are re soldered to the legs; bisque figure is in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. 14.5 in. high.
