SIGNED AARON WILLARD BANJO CLOCK./ The clock dial is signed Aaron Willard, Boston and has been refinished. The clock has an 8 day time only brass movement with a "T" bridge suspension. The reverse painted throat glass has flaking. The wood structure of the throat is exceedingly delicate. The lower door has paint restoration, flaking and gilt restoration. The base has two missing balls on each side with gesso loss, the base has come off in the past and has been re-glued. The clock has added wood blocks & repaired glue blocks. It has a brushed pendulum bob and brass side arms. The clock has a gilt acorn finial and a typical brass weight with duckbill hook. 10"W x 39"H x 4"D.
