Colt Army Model 1860 Revolver. 8 in. round barrel with rifled bore, .44 caliber, 6 shot single action percussion revolver with creep style ramrod, brass trigger guard and butt strap, walnut grips; marked on the top of the barrel in one line "Address Col. Saml Colt New York U.S. America", "Colt's Patent" on the left frame, matching serial numbers "105049" on barrel, frame, trigger guard & butt strap, cylinder faintly reads "Patent No. 5049 - Patented Sept. 10th, 1857". Replaced wedge, hammer cocks & half cocks, cylinder rotates and trigger functions smoothly, cylinder is loosely seated, no engraved scene on cylinder. c.1864, overall length 14 in.
