Description:

Columbia Type BF "Peerless" Graphophone. Oak case has a domed lid, turned corner columns and inside side panels with "The Graphophone" banner on the front; nickel silver bedplate with black painted chassis decorated with gilt stenciling and red leaves. Quadruple spring driven movement, lyre shaped reproducer and plays long 6.5 in. cylinder records; the horn has a black painted cone and flared brass bell which mounts on the reproducer, 20 in. long x 11 in. dia. Accompanied by a Columbia Collector's Guide booklet; 4 cylinder records are 6 in. long, record numbers are 85121, 84143, 85147 & 85011. Overall dimensions 28 in. high x 15 in. wide x 9 in. deep.
