Boston; 4 jar mercurial pendulum with steel stick - numbered 397 and 3388 (dwt), isochronous beat adjustment on the top of the verge and original crank. In a custom cherry Colonial style case, has a tapered form with reverse graduated beveled glass panels in the door, arched bonnet with scrolled crest; custom case possibly original, restoration to base. Made for the M. Eisenstadt Jewelry Co. of St. Louis, MO, circa 1891, (as stated in a letter from Dana Blackwell). 79.5 in. high x 20 in. wide x 10.5 in deep.
