Painted wood dial has a 10 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, gilt borders and colorful floral decorated corners, period pierced hands (minute hand repaired); wooden works movement with count wheel strike mechanism with bell, iron weights and brass covered pendulum bob, label in the back of the case for Eli Terry Jr., Terryville, Conn. In a mahogany pillar & scroll case, has broken arch crest with maple inlays, spun brass finials, turned side columns and valanced feet; reverse painted lower tablet in good original condition. 31 in. high x 17.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.
