Emilio Fiaschi Marble Sculpture - Dying Gaul. Emilio Fiaschi (20th Century, Italian) marble sculpture titled "Dying Gaul" after the classic sculpture depicting a male gladiator seated on the ground and laying on his right hip, his sword is beside him, he wears only a neck torc, (collar of a slave chain) and a leaf at his waist; carved in pure white marble on an oval white marble base, engraved "Dying Gaul" and signed on the back "PCE Fiaschi, Firenze", in good condition. 10.5 in. high x 18 in. wide x 8 in. deep.
