Description:

Has good black spade hands, fancy gilt bronze bezel and chapter ring with applied Roman numerals, partially skeletonized bell striking round French brass movement numbered "61993"; the final pinion of the time train passes through the top of the case and moves the pendulum with a crank arm. On the top is a figural bronze robed maiden, signed "Laurent". In her right arm she holds the pendulum; the pendulum has a polished silvered turned rod wrapped in gilt, the bob is a star studded blue sphere with a blue finish. On a rouge marble base, in excellent condition, strikes properly and runs smooth.
