French Figural Mystery Ball Swinger Clock. French cast spelter standing figure of woman with garments blowing in the wind titled “Brise D’Automne”, signed Aug. Moreau, she holds a post in her left hand from which the pendulum swings on an X suspension; has a medium brown original finish and is in good condition with no dings, breaks or repairs, on a turned wood base. 24 in. gridiron pendulum has a 4.5 in. ball top and spherical bob, the dial has applied brass Roman hour numerals with gilt filigree pierced hands; brass 8 day spring driven time only movement contained behind the dial is signed C. Cie, Paris (Carpentier & Co.), numbered 11536 and powers the mystery swinging pendulum. In running condition, nice original finish has some typical wear with minor dings to the back of the ball; missing threaded screw which secures the pendulum onto the post. 29 in. high. Weight: 11 lbs.
