Description:

The figural robed maiden is titled "La Beaute" (The Beauty), after Augustus Moreau. Her right arm reaches up, holding the swinging timepiece. The gridiron pendulum has a small sphere at the bottom and a larger sphere at the top. Has applied brass numerals on the dial and a small round brass time only spring driven movement marked "C.O.A. - France". Has matching numbers on the movement and pendulum, "5236". In good condition, spring holds tension and pendulum swings freely.
