GIRONDOLE BANJO CLOCK ATTR. JOSEPH CONLON. This is an early 20th century weight driven clock with a good old movement which is crudely signed "L Curtis". The 6.75"dial has imperfections and scratches. Original gilded finish has losses to the gesso on the case and the presentation balls. The lower convex door reverse painted glass of the "U.S. Macedonian" has some paint loss. The reverse painted throat glass is in decent condition but has imperfections. The clock has good period style girondole hands, a typical banjo weight and pendulum stick with bob. Untouched original condition. 13"W x 42"H x 5"D. Estimated Value $7,500 - 10,000.
