Hamilton No.21 Fusee Detent Boxed Chronometer. 4 in. silvered dial has painted black Arabic numbers, sub seconds dial and up-down indicator, signed Hamilton, Lancaster, PA., U.S.A. N1091, 1941 (Navy model circa 1941, serial number 1091); has a silvered brass fusee movement, detent escapement and large balance wheel with helical spring, in good running condition, good fusee chain with no rust or tarnish, signed Model 21, 14 Jewels, Hamilton Watch Co. Lancaster, PA., U.S.A and number matching the dial 2E1091. In a gimbaled brass tub with proper hardware, knurled brass bezel with good crystal, has some surface rust to the hardware. Mahogany case has brass straps on the corners, brass latch & brass handles on the sides. Good lid and viewing lid with dust cover on the top; signed on the front Hamilton Watch Co. Lancaster, PA., U.S.A. 7.5 in. high x 7.5 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.
