HAND CARVED CIVIL WAR CANE W/ FLOATING MARBLE INSERTS. Walnut cane with an applied handle carved with a horseshoe on the end and a face on the grip. At the top of the shaft are two cut out slots, each with 2 round marbles floating inside. The lower part of the shaft is carved with the names of important events of the Civil War, including "Weldon RR, Antietam, Fredericksburg, First Bull Run, Gettysburg and Coal Harbor". The inscribed name near the base is "T. Wright". The cane is in very good condition and the carvings are folk art in style but well done. 36.5"W x 7"H. Estimated Value $400 - 600.
