DUTCH EARLY 18TH CENTURY 8 DAY 2 TRAIN TALL CLOCK./ This clock strikes 1 bell on the half hour and a larger bell on the hour. The clock has a three date calendar mechanism, day of the week, day of the month, and month of the year. The dial is signed Kroon and does have a moon phase. The case is heavily inlaid with gilded brass mounts. The bonnet has reticulated carvings with figures. The clock has a steel pendulum rod and brass bob with 2 weights. Made by Claas Kroon, Leeuwarden. 24.5"W x 110"H x 11"D.
