Description:

JACOB GODSHALK PHILADELPHIA GRANDFATHER CLOCK. The clock has fancy pierced hands, arched brass dial with silver chapter ring, black Roman hour numerals, black Arabic 5 minute markers, decorative brass dial center and fancy brass pierced spandrels. The movement is a typical 30 hour weight driven time and strike 'CONTINUOUS" chain grandfather clock. The clock strikes on a massive brass bell on the top. It has a heavy cast iron weight, replaced pendulum stick and bob. A presentation brass plaque is on the inside the case door. The mahogany case has three wood finials, fancy bonnet, quarter columns, and base with replaced ball feet. 18"W x 100.5"H x 9.5"D. Estimated Value $2,000 - 3,000.
