JOSEPH JENNENS INLAID GRANDFATHER CLOCK. Joseph Jennens grandfather clock in a documented Tobey case. This is a massive mahogany grandfather clock with incredible inlay. It has a signed brass 11"round dial with moon phase and typical pierced style hands, silver chapter ring, raised gold Arabic hour numerals and silent chime switch. The massive time, strike and chime brass clock movement was made in England. The clock has 8 tubes for the Westminster and Whittington chime selection. It strikes the hour on a coiled cathedral anvil. The clock has a massive mahogany seat board. It is totally restored, highly polished, exceptionally clean and immaculate. The weights are brass shells, highly polished. The clock has an impressive bonnet with intricate inlay and three brass finials. The case is numbered #944. A shaped beveled glass in the waiste door and in both side panels. 24"W x 102"H x 16"D. Estimated Value $15,000 - 20,000.
