Carl Kauba (1865-1922) Indian Scout Bronze Sculpture Cast By The Bergman Foundry. 2 Indian scouts stand beside a broadside horse, one holds and axe in his left hand and shades his brow with his right hand, the other is holding the reigns in one hand and his bow up in his right hand. Has a medium brown patina with gilt highlights to the clothing. Signed on the rear of the indian "C. Kauba" numbered "3573 - Geschutzt" and has Bergman "urn & B" foundry mark, horse also bears the foundry mark and is numbered "3605". Measures approximately 7.5 in. high x 9.75 in. wide.
