Description: KPM porcelain plaque after the painting by Friedrich Paul Thumann, "The Three Fates," has a hand painted scene depicting Clotho, the spinner, who is semi-nude and wears draping white garments while holding a distaff and spindle; Lachesis, the allotter, wearing blue and white garments with a lap full of flowers; and Atropos, who cuts the thread of life, wearing dark green garments and having a hood. Signed on the back with impressed "K.P.M." and scepter mark. Plaque in very good condition with no damage or repair. Plaque: 12 in. high x 9 3/8 in. wide. Frame: 16 in. high x 13 3/8 in. wide.
