Lapis Enamel Animated Singing Bird Box. Gilt case has blue lapis enamel decorated panels on the top and sides; the oval lid swings up with an animated singing bird which whistles, rotates and moves its wings and beak. In nice condition, bird moves with nice brisk motion, whistle is clean and bright with good sound, has key. Case is stamped on the bottom with “E.B.” in an oval mark and marked “Metall”, in very good condition with no cracks, or chips in the panels. 2 in. high x 4.25 in. wide x 2.75 in. deep. Weight: 1.75 lbs.
