Gilt Bronze Figural Carriage Clock. 2.5 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals and pierced trefoil hands, quality brass 8 day spring driven movement has a platform lever escapement and half hour strike on a bell, movement is striking but not running. In an excellent gilt bronze case with tazza tray style finial, flowers, filigree and figures of nude women seated at the corners holding instruments in one hand, goblet and grape cluster in the other and stands on fancy pierced decorated feet. Nice overall condition, one figure missing instrument, minute hand repaired. 11 in. high x 6.5 in. wide x 5.75 in. deep. Weight: 8.75 lbs.
