Longines "Hack" Military Chronometer with 8 day Up/Down Indicator. This chronometer has blued spade and poker hand with subs seconds hand and up/down indicator hand. The 24 hour dial has red and black Arabic 24 hour numerals, 10 second Arabic markers and 24 hour Arabic up/down indicator hours. The case is brass, has beveled glass crystal and has patina, nicks and scratches but is in overall good condition. The case has a hinged back with brass cuvette, ball crown and brass case back opening push button. The movement is a nickel, 17 jewel, number 4842251, and has interesting ring hack device inside the back for starting and stopping the movement. Estimated Value $800 - 1,200.
