MARCEL BOURAINE. LADY ON THE WATER. The figure, a kneeling nude, has long flowing hair tied back with a floral head-band. Atop of a tall center platform with 2 side platforms on either side, she has long filigree clusters with roses in either hand and more groups of filigree and assorted flowers flow over and in front of the platforms. Below, the long oval platform tray depicts water. The figure is signed M - Bouraine and the back of the platform is stamped "Bronze". In very good, original and clean condition, showing great detail in the flowers, fingers, toes and hair. This piece has a nice dark brown patina. 19"W x 10.5"H x 9"D.
