Horner 9 Tube Grandfather Clock. 12 in. silvered dial signed “Tiffany & Co., New York” with applied brass Roman hour numerals, silvered sub seconds dial and fancy engraved brass back plate, has an arched silvered moon phase dial with painted dish signed on the back “Walter H. Durfee Providence, RI”. Quality, brass 8 day, weight driven movement with Graham deadbeat escapement and strikes on 9 signed tubes “Walter H. Durfee & Company”; 3 quality brass weights & pulleys, brass pendulum bob with wood stick. Carved oak case has a arched pediment crest with leaf and griffin carvings and serpentine sides on the bonnet, has a serpentine body with leaf, scroll and griffin carvings, beveled door glass and a bulbous base with figural putti and claw feet. In very good condition, original finish. 106 in. high x 24 in. wide x 17 in. deep.
