Pair of Civil War Cap Boxes. The first is marked E. Gaylord, Chicopee, Mass in 3 lines and the black leather is in very good condition. This box has the padded compartment and a vent pick. The second box is marked Watertown Arsenal 1865 in 3 lines. This box is in fine condition with good loops and crazing confined to the front flap- it also has the white cotton padding but no vent pick. Estimated Value$300 - 600.
