PIENOT BROTHERS FRENCH SILK THREAD MANTLE CLOCK./ Figural bronze French silk thread mantle clock, shows a gilt woman next to a tree on the left and a winged gilt robed figure leaning against the clock tower at the right. The tower has applied bronze mounts with cupids and filigree at the top and a fountain below. The gilt base shows a detailed garden scene of numerous figures in relief. The silk thread movement is unsigned. The porcelain face is signed Pienot Pere, Paris. Circa 1830. The gilding is brilliant and intact. 17.5"W x 22"H x 7"D.
