Remington - Rider magazine pistol. 3" octagon barrel is chambered for the 32 rim fire extra-short and has a perfect bore. The top of the barrel is marked E. Remington & Sons Ilion, NY over Rider's pat. Aug 16th 1871. This pistol is in outstanding condition with 98% nickle plating with some very minor freckling. The action needs an adjustment as there doesn't seem to be any tension on the trigger. The wood grips are in fine condition with finish wear limited to the outer edges near the grip frame. This is a rare pistol in seldom seen condition. Estimated Value$2,000 - 2,500.
