Roster of Company C, Scott's 900 U.S.V. CAV'Y. Colorful roster is in a nice wooden frame that measures 25" by 21".This company was organized on November 1st,1861 by Lieut. (now Col.) Jas. B. Swain, U.S.A. at Staten Island N.Y. The roster lists all the privates in two columns including a separate list of deserters and the officers-both commissioned and non-commissioned, sergeants, corporals, buglers, farrier,saddler, Regimental Field & Staff Officers and non-commissioned Staff in another column.The roster is in great condition with no rips or tears and minimal staining. Estimated Value$400 - 600.
