The clock has open diamond hands, original painted wood dial with large bold black Arabic hour numerals, brass alarm setting disc, 30 hour time, strike and alarm upside down wood works movement with ivory bushings, cast iron time, strike and alarm weights, This clock has a good inside label signed "FRANKLINS CLOCKS" with "TIME IS MONEY" on the reverse painted lower door, This case has a decent label with the information on the improvement of ivory bushings for the wood works movement. Interesting two tiered case with a mirror in the main frame of the door, and a reverse painted glass in the very bottom of the case. The clock case is in overall good condition with good escutcheon, minor nicks, scratches and imperfections. Dial Diameter: 9". 16.5"W x 37"H x 4.5"D. Estimated Value $600 - 900.
