Small Commemorative GAR Flask. Round metal flask measures 4 1/2" across by 5" tall. The front side has a beaded copper center with profiles of Grant, Lee and possibly Sherman at the top and a large "GAR" in script at the center over "1861 to 1865" over "1892" over "Patented April 16, 1889." The back side also has a beaded copper center with "Souvenir" over "Twenty-Sixth Grand Annual" over a relief of the capital over "Encampment" over "Washington DC" over "Sept. 20-23" over "1982". This flask is dented a little on both sides at the center and it's missing the stopper. It is tight and will hold liquids with a new cork. Estimated Value$100 - 200.
