STELLA 17" DISK MUSIC BOX WITH CARVED OAK CASE AND MUSIC CABINET. The oak case features a very nice medium dark original finish, on the outside, with moldings and carved swirling oak leaves and acorns just above a single drawer, on the front. The inside shows a light oak finish with the name Stella, inlaid under the lid. The comb shows 84 teeth in good condition. The inside frame has a molded signature "Stella" next to the setters S and T displayed inside of a star. The metal tag holds the latest patent date Feb. 2, 1897 - 12748 and also reads Stella, Brevete SGDG - British Patent, D.R. patente D.G. Muster. The tag inside reads Jacot & Sons, New York. Has a large crank on the right side. The music stand is oak and in original finish with very nice color patina. Each of the two doors is carved with a wreath and ribbons, enclosing the 19 vertical sheet slots. This piece is in good clean and original working condition and has great sound. Complete with 39 discs. Shows no notable flaws. 31"W x 42"H x 24"D.
