TIMBY SOLAR MANTLE CLOCK. This style of clock was made by Theodore R. Timby of Baldwinsville New York. The 6" diameter globe was made by Gilman Joslin, a Boston map maker and is in exceptionally good condition. The clock has a walnut case and has a good original finish. 8-day time only brass movement with a balance wheel escapement. The upper disc dial with hours and minutes, with a lower 4"seconds disc dial. 14"W x 27"H x 5"D. Estimated Value $8,000 - 10,000.
