U.S. S&F officer's sword. M1860 retailed by M.C. Lilley & Co Columbus Ohio. A fine officer's sword with gilt brass eagle pommel, brass wire wrapped handle, gilt turned down shell guard with eagle. The double edge straight blade is inscribed "US" and "E Pluribus Unum" as well as some other etched designs. Complete with original brown metal scabbed. Excellent condition. Estimated Value$200 - 300.
