U.S. CIVIL WAR ERA INFANTRY REGIMENTAL ZOUAVE JACKET. A very rare regimental "zouave style" infantry jacket with 1/2" gold tape trim around the edges and collar with a regimental scroll design on the breast and stripes on the back. The sleeve cuffs are split with no signs of previous buttons and have red musicians chevrons trimmed in gold tape. No maker's mark, numbered on the back lining "3002 - 40". Some wear to the lining on the bottom right breast and some light wear and staining to the gold trim. Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,500.
