William Tell Cast Iron Mechanical Bank, by J.& E. Stevens Co. Cromwell, Conn. Pat. June 23rd 1896. Standing figure of William Tell in fancy clothing and cape, he aims down the barrel of his musket, the coin is loaded on top of the barrel; the boy standing at the steps in front of the tower has an apple on top of his head and when William Tell's right foot is pressed down, his head drops to look down the muskets sights as he shoots the coin into the tall stone tower and knocking the apple down. The paint is original, in excellent condition with green on the base, tan colored tower, the boy wears yellow and the shooter has colorful clothing. In good working condition, has its trap door. 6.5 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.
