3 Pc. Figural Carved Black Forest Clock Set. Large carved black forest case represents a hunt scene with a pair of dogs taking a large stag, has boulders carved into the base with forest floor foliage, tree trunk having long exposed roots, oak leaves, branches and fern plants. 6 in. wood dial with applied brass Roman hour numerals, pieced brass hands, brass 8 day spring driven movement with half hour strike on a bell, has key and pendulum. Clock is in good condition, case has 2 minor leaf repairs, stag antlers are replacements. 31 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 8 in. deep. With a matching pair of side pieces, each is figural carved with a standing male and resting female antelope, ground carved with boulders and roots of a large filigree decorated oak tree trunk with open to hollowed to fit glass vase inserts. In excellent condition and original finish. Clock is missing its minute hand, side pieces are missing their glass inserts; nice overall condition and original finish. 14 in. high x 8.25 in. wide x 6.75 in. deep. Weight: 34 lbs.
