Has good hands, 8" concave dial painted with Roman numerals, brass time only weight driven movement, recoil escapement, original iron weight, steel rod with brass pendulum bob. Walnut case in original finish and excellent condition, carved crest with brass eagle & ball finial, stands on round brass feet. Original reverse painted glasses in excellent condition; the bonnet glass is painted with autumn colors of leafy filigree and golden lyres on the corners, the main glass is a farmer's country scene with cows and sheep. Case has some holes in the top of the back panel.
