Oak Seth Thomas Wall Regulator. 12 in. bronze 2 tone dial with relief hour numbers and minute markers, has a 2.75 in. brass sub seconds dial and brass spade hands on a quartersawn oak backboard; brass 8 day spring driven movement No. 36, signed with Seth Thomas trade mark, has an hour strike on a coiled gong, long ebonized wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob, in nice condition and running. In a quartersawn oak case having a shell and scroll carved crest with filigree, large turned half columns under turned finials, oak bezel with carved ribbon corner spandrels, fancy shaped beveled glass door, inset side panels, brass door knob with mother of pear insert and leaf carved corbels under the base. In excellent refinished condition. Measures 53.5 in. high x 25.5 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.
